Critical Illness:

It is common to add critical illness cover to life insurance policies. However, since the likelihood of a person contracting a critical illness is much higher than premature death, the premiums are significantly higher than life cover alone. Surprisingly, it is often the case now that a life and critical illness combined policy costs the same or almost the same as a critical illness only policy.
